Here's a fun list of things you could do to embrace a slower paced life this weekend. You do not need to accomplish all 10, this is about slowing down remember.
If you are not sure where to start, here's a few ideas:
1. Find a comfy spot, grab a good book, and read.
2. Go for a long walk.
3. Connect with an old friend and have a long (real) conversation.
4. Take a relaxing bath.
5. Cook a meal completely from scratch. If you can use home grown ingredients - bonus points!
6. Draw or paint a picture.
7. Go outside at night and watch the stars.
8. Find a sunny spot and enjoy your favourite drink. Not sunny? Actually stop and listen to the rain hitting a window, or the sound of the wind.
9. Go for a boat ride or a bike ride.
10. Sit by a campfire and watch the flames dance.
Take time this weekend to do something relaxing and that brings you joy. It doesn't have to be from this list, just choose something that makes you feel good, calm, and peaceful. Something you always put off because you're "too busy".
